Our man in charge of the show is Captain Earnhardt. He'll be greeting visitors as they enter our Civil War haunting area. When he's finished he'll be wearing the uniform on the right -->.

The Captain's a lot more complicated than he really needs to be, but he was the pet hi-tech project for this year.

Capt. Earnhardt will be quite the mover when he's done; we're still working on his "body". We started with a sturdy structure for his legs; a wooden base to which we mounted a lazy-susan swivel. This allows his whole torso to rotate - Elvis style.
